Hey, lovely readers!
Today's the first day of 2024, and this is my first blog post for 2024.
2023 has been a challenging time, with crisis after crisis each month. Medical, personal, familial—the universe tested my strength this past year. And honestly, we're still recovering from all the things that happened.
I can't speak for all the challenges we overcame, but it helped me grow and sort out my priorities better.
Moving on to 2024
I am optimistic that everything will fall into place, and 2024 will be much better than 2023.
That being said, I did a life audit and took notes of what I needed to add and remove from my life. So, piggybacking from a recent Tiktok trend, here in a blog form, my ins and outs for 2024:
Ins:
- low-tox alternatives to the products I use
- sunlight in the morning
- 5-minute breaks every 1 hour of work
- consistent self-care routine
- water, water, water
- working on side projects
- writing
- reaching out to friends more
- playgroup dates with my daughter
- self-compassion
- quality > quantity
- reading
- eating more vegetables
- consistent and productive system
- minimalism
- journalling
- coffee
Outs:
- toxic products
- toxic people
- toxic digital spaces
- shopping for the sake of boredom or FOMO
- mindless scrolling
- getting involved in other people's drama
- sleeping late
- regular sodas
- gossiping
- procrastinating
- playing so many mobile games
- overconsumption
- clutter
- negative self-talk
It's funny how the majority of these align with my 30 by 30 list, which speaks a lot about how I plan to accomplish everything on that list before the 4th week of August this year.
Anyway, cheers to a happier and blessed 2024!
